It’s been ages since I did a Sisters post (August 2015) so I thought it was about time for another one! Life moves so quick with little ones (I know, everyone says it and it’s such a cliche because it’s true – the days are long but the years are short).
The ‘love / hate’ relationship I talked about in August is very much still there, I think that’s the way things are with siblings. Imogen is becoming more of a playmate which Seren loves but they both do things to irritate the other. Imogen ‘ruins’ (Seren’s words) Seren’s play setups, Seren grabs toys from Imogen. Imogen loves to follow Seren and sit in her seat when she gets up which winds Seren up.
Seren has made up a song for when Imogen needs her nappy changing which goes, “Jingle bells, my sister smells”.
But, there’s a lot of love! If Imogen gets up first, she will run into Seren’s room to get into bed with her and if Seren is up first she goes to see Imogen and piles toys into her cot. Imogen can sort of say Seren but much clearly she can say “sister” and it get’s said a lot.
Photos taken during a weekday lunch time (toasties for the win in this weather!) when they were either kissing each other or pushing the other away.
