May Day Bank Holiday Weekend

2nd May 2016

We’ve had a pretty relaxing May bank holiday weekend getting stuff done around the house and garden. How lovely was Saturday and Sunday’s sunshine?

We picnicked. We hunted for ants, worms, snails and spiders. We washed the outdoor toys. We built a den with the toy cars and slide. We picked dandelions. We drew on the patio with chalk. Andy painted and constructed a little play house with his little ‘helpers’.

I remembered the challenge of taking photos in bright sunshine and shadows getting in the way. Seren tried to help dry the paint with her toy hairdryer! Love her problem solving and optimism.

It’s going to be tough to get back into the swing of things tomorrow morning.

Linking up with Donna at What The Redhead Said for Living Arrows. Huge thanks to Donna for featuring one of my photos from last week’s Living Arrows post in her favourites this week! See our year of Living Arrows 2015 – A Year of Living Arrows

I was going to feature another of yours on Monday but realised I’d done one last week – oops! Your photos are beautiful though, you really capture the moment. It looks like you had a great time in the garden x
