As I had spent Friday afternoon / evening and all day Saturday at Blogtacular, I was delighted that Andy favoured a quiet Father’s Day yesterday. After his obligatory lie in, he pottered around in the garden and did some mending and planting. The girls looked for ripe strawberries but didn’t find any. Not that stopped Imogen from picking the green ones <sigh>.
We got our BBQ out for the first time this summer. So he enjoyed a lot of meat, Eton Mess (well, a version with ice-cream as the cream went funny) and cider.
Followed by a kick about in the garden.
The girls were in a happy, playful mood and it was lovely to all hang out together. Happy days.
