Bunches! {Living Arrows 1/52}

4th January 2016

There’s something about the turning of the year that makes me dwell on how quickly my girls are growing. I started 2015 with a baby and ended with a toddler. And that toddler will be a little girl by the time 2016 ends. We’ve had a lot of much-needed downtime over the last week. We were snuggled under a duvet watching films when Imogen brought me a hairbrush and wanted me to brush her hair. She absolutely adores having her hair played with and would happily let me do that all night whilst she slept. There were some hairbands lying around so I decided to try bunches out on her for the first time … how cute!? She didn’t sit brilliantly still and kept wanting to touch them, so they’re messy bunches and didn’t stay in long. I don’t think we’ll be doing regular hairstyles yet (styling her big sister’s hair takes all my patience right now!) but it was a glimpse into the little girl she will become before very long.

Living Arrows is a weekly photograhy linky run by Hayley at Shutterflies. It’s about celebrating motherhood and childhood and capturing those moments you want to preserve forever. Head over to Hayley’s blog to join the linky or look at the other photos – I’m delighted to be a featured blogger again this week!

    Aww the cuteness! How adorable are those tiny little bunches – although definitely a sign of a toddler not a baby – alas!

    There is something so sweet about little girls with bunches, she looks so cute. I’m pretty sure I could get bunches in my boys hair but I’m sure he would be furious 🙂 #livingarrows

    So cute! I love seeing little girls with their hair in bunches. Can’t wait to be able to do it with my daughter although I think I’ll be waiting a while as her hair has only just started to grow and she’s almost two! #livingarrows
